About This Project

Kristin Meyers presents a new installation at Barrister’s Gallery New Orleans. The installation, “In the Grasp of Mourning,” reinvents the space into an immersive experience. It continues the artist’s dialog with ritual while creating a new conversation with spacial relationships. “In the grasp extends its reach with the threat of movement. Mourning tightly writhes, surrounded, demanding a recognition of life.”
